Thanks to the modest size of the Brighter Life Foundation and the good local network, we can offer unbureaucratic, direct and efficient emergency aid. Which is extremely necessary in the current time!
Sri Lanka is currently lacking everything: medicines, food and fuel are scarce, operations cannot be carried out and fishing boats remain on the beach.
The relief organization Daya Nivasa, which was visited by the foundation board members Nili, Mark and Ruedi at the end of 2021 and is already supported by BLF, contacted us with an emergency call: The supply situation is precarious and the eight homes belonging to Daya Nivasa urgently need help.
BLF was able to buy food vouchers in the amount of CHF 20,000.- on the spot, which were handed out to the eight homes.
